Free Iran Fund is a grassroots movement shaped by more than 670 social and political activists across Iran with the purpose of financing legitimate protests of brave Iranians against the brutal suppression of Iran's authoritarian, theocratic, and militarized regime.

Day by day, more Iranians become victim of the regime's cruelty which makes perseverance of protests and demands more costly.

It is imperative to implement certain actions to alleviate the pressure incurred on protests and Iranian people. Such actions include but not limited to providing technical solutions for getting around censorship, supporting spreading strikes to different strata of society, handling associated costs of street protests, organizing nationwide protests, and reaching out voice of Iranian people to foreign political powers and media.

At Free Iran Fund we aim at supporting the implementation of the aforementioned actions through financing their monetary needs. 

Due to the possibility of tracking banking activities by the Iranian regime on one hand, and the unreasonable impediment imposed by foreign governments on financial channels of supporting Iranian people on the other hand, it is impossible for us to achieve our aim through regular banking systems. Therefore, we are exploiting the anonymity, accuracy, transparency, and rapidity of cryptocurrency to support protests in Iran financially. 

Safety of our activists is of utmost importance to us and for continuity of our efforts, hence, we cannot reveal the identity of any of our activists or any information that may compromise their anonymity. 

In accordance with our goal of providing financial support to protests of brave Iranians against the brutal suppression of Iran's authoritarian, theocratic, and militarized regime, the collected funds are expended in the following criteria on a regular basis:

• Developing and executing technical solutions for getting around censorship

• Developing and executing technical solutions for getting around filtering of social networks and platforms

• Providing free Internet access via purchasing and distributing available technologies to Iranians who have been affected by the Internet shutdowns used to silence dissent

• Compensating for financial losses of Iranian e-commerce businesses who have been seriously affected by the crackdown on free Internet access in Iran

• Compensating for financial losses and daily monetary needs of Iranian protesters going on strikes at various refineries, factories, and workshops

• Identifying those victimized by the brutal suppression of the regime in street protests and compensate for their medical monetary needs

• Spreading true information about the ongoing state of the protests

Collected funds are regularly transferred to other wallets to be expended according to our criteria, however, the subsequent wallets that collected funds are transferred to and the pattern of fund distribution change constantly to avoid being tracked and identified by the regime.

To avoid being identified and tracked by the Iranian regime and their accomplices across the world we NEVER use any bank account to receive donation funds. Please beware of fraudulent who try to steal your funds by misrepresenting themselves as "Free Iran Fund" activists and by providing malicious bank accounts that have no connection to us.
